The Northern Westchester Hospital Surgical Weight Loss Program is one of only a few programs offering expertise in all bariatric procedures, including laparoscopic banding, bypass and sleeve, as well as extensive experience with the duodenal switch and revision procedures.
As a hospital-based program, we provide complete surgical care and incorporate all of the latest techniques, minimally invasive surgical procedures, and technologies to ensure patient medical needs are effectively met. Our staff is fully trained in bariatric medicine, the special needs of our bariatric patients, as well as related surgical services.
The NWH Surgical Weight Loss Program is lead by Mitchell S. Roslin, MD, FACS, a nationally recognized and fully-accredited expert in bariatric medicine, and considered to be one of the top bariatric surgeons in the field. In this past year, Dr Roslin has served as invited faculty and given talks in Israel, Mexico and and areas of Europe. He is a faculty member at the Minimally Invasive Surgical Symposium, The Consensus Conference on Sleeve Gastrectomy, and is editor of the VideoTextBook of Bariatric Surgery. He serves as the major teaching proctor for sleeve gastrectomy and duodenal switch and is the course director for symposiums on revisional bariatric surgery.
Under Dr. Roslin’s leadership, the NWH Surgical Weight Loss Program is working with industry experts to develop new techniques and procedures that advance the field of surgical weight loss.
