Why have your bariatric surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital?
NWH's Expertise & Technology
The Northern Westchester Hospital Surgical Weight Loss Program is one of only a few programs offering expertise in all bariatric procedures, including laparoscopic banding, bypass and sleeve, as well as extensive experience with the duodenal switch and revision procedures.
The NWH Surgical Weight Loss Program is lead by Mitchell S. Roslin, MD, FACS, a nationally recognized and fully-accredited expert in bariatric medicine.
Under Dr. Roslin’s leadership, the NWH Surgical Weight Loss Program is working with industry experts to develop new techniques and procedures that advance the field of surgical weight loss.
As a hospital-based program, we provide complete surgical care and incorporate all of the latest techniques, minimally invasive surgical procedures, and technologies to ensure patient medical needs are effectively met. Our staff is fully trained in bariatric medicine, the special needs of our bariatric patients, as well as related surgical services.
NWH’s Unique Commitment to Patient-centered Care
It is our belief that one bariatric procedure is not right for all patients. We are committed to ensuring that our patients receive thorough and clear explanations of each of the procedural options, and to helping them make an educated decision about the operation that has the best possibility to meet their goals.
Through our thoughtfully designed steps to weight loss surgery, patients are carefully evaluated to determine eligibility for surgery. Our team of nutritionists, psychologists and exercise & fitness experts take a respectful and nurturing approach to guide your path to weight loss and wellness, and to prepare the mind and body for the best outcome. Support groups help you long after the surgery to maintain your goals.
NWH Surgical Weight Loss Program provides top-notch medical treatment in a nurturing setting, with emphasis on patient care and satisfaction.
